About Dr Sharryn Gardner
Focused on real change,
not managing symptoms over time
Working in real-life settings
I’ve worked with people in healthcare and high-pressure environments, where the impact of unresolved trauma shows up daily, in burnout, repeated crises, and difficult interactions.
What stood out was how often people understood things intellectually, but nothing changed in how they felt or reacted.
Hi, I'm Dr Sharryn
I’ve spent over 30 years working in emergency medicine, where trauma responses show up in real time, in patients, in families, and in the professionals caring for them.
Alongside this, I’ve worked in trauma therapy, focused on helping those responses resolve quickly and effectively.
My work has evolved from established rapid trauma-processing methods into a more integrated and adaptable approach.
A different approach
I focused on how trauma responses are actually stored and triggered, and how they can be resolved at the level they occur, rather than managed over time
This work is practical, structured, and focused on real change, often within a single session
How I work
Sessions are calm and structured. You stay in control throughout.
We focus on the specific moments your system still reacts to, not revisiting everything that’s ever happened.
This is for people who want change, not more theory
Whether you’re coming as an individual or through training,
the aim is the same:
to create meaningful change that you can feel,
quickly, and in real situations.
